Case study

New Day Foster

Building a privacy-conscious caregiver resource platform from concept through deployment.

01 · Challenge

The operational context

Foster, kinship and guardianship caregivers often need practical information quickly, but available resources can be scattered, difficult to navigate or overly focused on individual stories rather than actionable planning.

02 · My role

Connecting the system to the work

I founded and developed New Day Foster as an independent digital platform. I manage the product structure, editorial standards, technical deployment, analytics, resource development and ongoing quality assurance.

03 · Approach

A structured path from issue to improvement

  • Translate caregiver needs into user journeys, content categories and planning tools.
  • Develop privacy-conscious standards that avoid identifiable stories about children.
  • Build and deploy the site using GitHub, Cloudflare and analytics tools.
  • Create guides, printables, product resources and interactive planning experiences.
Confidentiality note: This case study is intentionally generalized. It does not include internal screenshots, controlled operational information, proprietary records or agency-sensitive details.

04 · Outcome

Practical improvement

New Day Foster demonstrates end-to-end product ownership: identifying a need, defining requirements, structuring information, deploying a working solution and improving it through ongoing analysis.

05 · Tools

Platforms and methods

Cloudflare, GitHub, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, analytics, search tools and AI-assisted content workflows.
