The opportunity
Foster families often need practical information quickly, but resources can be fragmented, difficult to navigate, or written without the day-to-day caregiver perspective. New Day Foster was created to organize useful guides, printables, and product resources in one accessible platform.
My role
I own the initiative end to end: audience research, information architecture, content operations, web design, deployment, analytics, affiliate implementation, quality control, and roadmap planning.
Approach
- Defined user needs around placement, school, medical, court, behavior, and life-skills workflows.
- Designed a content structure that supports both browsing and search discovery.
- Built and deployed the static site using AI-assisted development, GitHub version control, and Cloudflare Pages.
- Created reusable content and printable templates with a consistent review process.
- Implemented analytics and an affiliate model while keeping practical usefulness central.
